MASH management
Speakers:
Dr Nick Lan
Cardiologist in the Cardiometabolic service of
Fiona Stanley Hospital and Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of
Western Australia. His expertise is in preventive cardiology and
cardiometabolic medicine, having undertaken a Clinical Fellowship in
Endocrinology and Diabetes and a Masters in Preventative Cardiovascular
Medicine. Nick is Co-Chair of the Cardiometabolic and Vascular Medicine Council
of the Australian Atherosclerosis Society and a Section Editor for the journal
Heart, Lung and Circulation. He has completed a Master of Clinical Research
with Distinction and was a recipient of the WA Health Research Fellowship. He
has published a book chapter on lipids in diabetes and >100 peer-reviewed
journal articles (>50 as first author). Nick's research is currently
supported by the WA Future Health Research and Innovation Fund.
A/Prof Marie Sinclair
and a transplant
hepatologist at Austin Health, Australia. Her research focuses on obesity,
MASLD, sarcopenia, and nutrition in advanced liver disease, with extensive
experience in multicentre clinical trials and translational hepatology
research.
